The hot water tap made a squeaking sound when Aiden turned it off. The red-haired vampire took off his clothes layer by layer and let them glide down his body. They fell to the bathroom floor and pooled around Aiden's feet.

Aiden stepped out of the pile of clothes and pressed both hands against the edge of the wooden bathtub.

He sighed contently when he dipped a leg inside the tub. The comfortable warmth quickly lured him into lowering his entire body into the hot water. While leaning against the smooth rim, Aiden closed his eyes and breathed evenly.

"Aiden?"

Aiden opened his eyes when he heard Ryan's voice.

The bathroom door creaked open and Ryan sauntered into the bathing area.

Aiden moved toward Ryan and leaned both arms against the bathtub's edge.

"Is everything alright?"

Ryan squeezed Aiden's chin lovingly. "Yes."

Aiden tugged at Ryan's tie.

"Do you want to take a bath together?"

"That would be great."
