The Hornthorpe Siblings

Gregory took Aiden and Liam to his office. As fate would have it, Aiden's last suitor was the head of the city council.

"We meet again, in an unlikely place," Gregory said with a smile.

"Indeed," Aiden answered curtly. Next to him, Liam was restless. He could not tell why, but he disliked this one vampire.

"So this boy is the only survivor of the massacre in Hollygrave?" Gregory leaned closer to Liam. When he smiled, the two pointy fangs appeared. Liam shrank back in fear.

"Correct."

"What's your name, boy?"

Liam shook his head frantically and burrowed into Aiden's lap.

"His name is Liam," Aiden answered while patting the little boy on the back to placate him.

"Do you wish to adopt him?"

"To be exact, I wish to return him to the human community. As a first step, I want to enroll him into a school. Unfortunately, I lack the documents."

"Hmmm. If you want to enroll him into an elementary school at Dominion, I can help bypass the requirements," Gregory offered.
