Pretending Cold

~~~~~ Ace's Mansion ~~~~~ Night.

Alix walked back into Ace's room after taking her bath, a towel was hanging from her chest to her waist. Her flaming red hair was wet and stuck to her face, she held a towel in her hand using it to dry her hair. She had searched through Ace's room but found no clothes she could wear.

Walking towards the door, she attempted to open it and walk out of the room to her room or find a maid to get her some clothes when Ace entered the room. Her lips parted in surprise and shock, she quickly veered around showing her back to him.

Ace cleared his throat in embarrassment when he saw she was still naked, preferably half naked he would say. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to leave the bathroom like this. There were no clothes for me in the bathroom, so I wanted to get some." Alix muttered to clear confusion in the air.

Ahem! "Oh! Sorry, I will ask the maid to get you some clothes. Wait here don't come outside." Ace mumbled walking towards the door. Not before his eyes racked through her slim and long legs, she turned her back to him so he couldn't get a proper glimpse of her body.

He swallowed the loop in his throat, before paddling his way out of the room. Alix breathed out in relief when he finally out of the room, her fave reddened in total embarrassment.

After some time, the maids came in with her clothes "young miss, the master said you should come to the dining room for dinner." One of the maids muttered. "Okay, you may leave," Alix responded nodding her head to their words, and they all left her alone.

After some time Alix was done getting dressed, she was dressed in a short blue gown that went with her eyes. Her long legs were on display, she packed her hair into a beautiful ponytail before stepping out of the room barefooted.

Meanwhile in the dining room, Ace was waiting for Alix to come down so they could have dinner. His eyes were on his phone but when he heard footsteps coming toward the dining room, he raised his eyes and gawked at Alix.

Her long legs exposed did nothing to hide every bit of sexiness in her body, Ace's eyes drifted downward and he stared at her barefooted legs.

Alix stood still while Ace evaluated her, she felt like a student being scolded by her teacher. The air in the dining room was equally warm, making it easy for her to ease herself.

"Come here." Ace muttered referring to Alix which jolted Alix out of her thoughts.

"Me?" Alix questioned with wide eyes, she glanced around to see if they were anyone besides her right there.

"Yes you, come here before I lose it." Ace mumbled in a cold and freezing tone, his eyes were equally cold as well.

Alix nodded her head and quickly walked toward him, she paddled her way in nervous steps him.

When she got closer to Ace, he stretched out his hand making her close her eyes in reflex. But instead, he pulled her to sit on his legs, glancing at her bare foot.

He momentarily forgot what he was doing and the cold air around him disappeared.

Alix sat shell-shocked at what he had just done, she wanted to turn back to stare at him but decided against it. She was embarrassed, her cheeks turned rosy in no time.

"You there, get me a pair of slippers for her." Ace ordered the closest maid who quickly nodded and rushed out of the room.

"Why did you walk around barefoot? You could catch a cold from walking barefoot" Ace scolded after the maid left the room, his eyes had a little bit of warmth in them.

"Eh, I didn't mean to walk around like that. The floor was warm and i- I forgot about it." Alix defended herself when she thought he was going to scold her.

"You have to go back home tomorrow, don't catch a cold while you are still here. Else it would seem I maltreated you here." Ace muttered nonchalantly when he saw the maid approaching.

Alix rolled her eyes at his words, he talked like he didn't maltreat her in the first place.
