The royal attendants that were with him served the food as Arren greeted the empress. As usual, Liviera was wearing a rather elegant royal suit, even though he was only inside his room. 

His demeanor was still full of noble grace; no one would suspect that he was actually under house arrest. They often interacted these days, but Arren admitted he was still intimidated sometimes by the Empress. 

"Your Majesty," Arren saluted with a small smile. 

Liviera gently smiled at him and held his hand. "When will you call me, Royal Mother?" As usual, the empress would tease him whenever he greeted him like this. 

Arren's face flushed as he smiled humbly, but he didn't respond. The empress was also used to it already, so he didn't pursue this matter anymore. 

"Okay then, let''s eat. I'm looking forward to what dish you prepare this time."
