Game One (4)

Arren glanced at his alpha, his heart wrenching in pain for him. He couldn't even imagine how he would react if his beloved father suddenly asked him the same question in the future.

"I'm sorry." Amidst the painful silence, Levin's voice reverberated, evident guilt filling in his tone. Although none of this was his fault, for him, his parents were indeed in the wrong, and it wouldn't be farfetched for their son to apologize on their behalf.

However, an apology wasn't the best solution for everyone, certainly not in their current situation.

Spade remained leaning on his table, shutting his eyes, and didn't respond to Levin. Arren slightly glanced at Levin, meeting his guilty gaze.

Arren exhaled and nodded to him. He honestly didn't know how to act with Levin after knowing that his father was the leader of the organization that was desperate to capture him for some baffling reason relating to him being the key.
