The cosy ambience of Margareth's room with the air was laced with the scent of aged paper and the subtle crackle of the fireplace. Richard lounged comfortably in an armchair, his eyes fixed on the pages of a book. At the same time, Margareth sat perched on the edge of her bed, reading a book.
"What do you think of Allen, Richard?" Margareth's voice suddenly broke the peaceful silence.
Richard glanced up from his book, his brow furrowing slightly at the interruption. "Don't you have a thesis to do? Don't waste your time on useless things."
"I'm bored..." Margareth's voice trailed off into a soft sigh, her fingers idly tracing patterns on the quilt beneath her. "My thesis is almost done anyway. I've gotten enough points too."
With a shrug, Richard closed his book, setting it aside with a quiet thud.
