How did you get that?

"I don't think he's coming. Are you sure he didn't take the test?" Nori shifted her weight to her left leg, lifted the right one, and placed her feet against the wall she leaned on.

They stood in front of their class, waiting for Veron to arrive so they could return his jacket. But it's been almost an hour and he was yet to arrive, even though the make-up test going on inside the class would soon be over.

"He didn't. I'm very sure he wasn't in class when we took the test." Karina responded to Nori's question, drawing her brows together. "Tsk…" She clicked her tongue in irritation. "So unserious. I wonder why he's in school when he takes everything for granted."

"You are forgetting he's rich. Money can do a lot of things, and go a lot of places. Also, he's connected to the owner of the school, so something as simple as a test will not bother him." Nori reminded and Karina rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, how can I forget that? I just can't believe I've wasted an hour of my time waiting for him."

"it's not up to an hour." Nori corrected, but Karina was not having it.

"I don't care. I still wasted time I should be using for other things and what did I get? He didn't show up." Karina complained angrily, then pushed herself off the wall.

"Let's go. There's still an hour before our class. I'm hungry." She stated, turning to leave when Nori also dropped her leg and pushed herself off the wall to leave.

They had barely taken three steps away when a voice echoed from behind them.

"Hey, look. Misplaced identity is here." The voice announced in a mocking tone, making Karina and Nori turn around to the source.

Just outside the class stood Sheila Stevens, another rich, spoilt brat who thinks the whole world revolves around her. If she wanted something, she goes any length to get it, because she believed whatever she desired must be hers.

The slender, tall beauty slowly walked toward Karina and Nori, tucking her blonde locks behind her ear and wearing a taunting smirk on her face.

Her friends, Audrey and Salome, who Karina usually refers to as her lackeys, were right behind her. It seemed they were the first to finish the test since they were out of the class already.

The frown that was previously plastered on Karina's face faded as her expression turned uninterested. Those three could bring nothing but trouble, and she wasn't ready to engage them at the moment.

When she turned around to leave, Sheila's palm landed on her shoulder.

"I'm talking to you, misplaced identity. Or isn't that your name?" Sheila questioned, moving her eyes over Karina's outfit, which was her normal combo of an oversized t-shirt and baggy jeans.

Sheila chuckled. "What am I saying? Of course, that's still your name. You still don't know if you're male or female." Sheila uttered.

"Hey, leave her alone. What's your problem?" Nori frowned, stepping closer to glare at Sheila.

"And there comes the mother hen. No need to flay, Nori. I don't plan to hurt your chick." Sheila said, letting out a low chuckle. This time, her lackeys joined in the laugh.

Karina turned around again to face Sheila and noticed that other students were trooping out of the class and curiously watching what was happening.

"What do you want, Sheila?" Karina asked, lifting her head slightly to lock gazes with Sheila, since the latter was about an inch taller than her, and was also wearing high heels.

Sheila's smile turned wider at the question. She wasn't one to let go of an opportunity to put another down or taunt another. Even though she knew whatever she would say may likely not affect Karina, she would still say it.

Karina had grown thick skin against all the insults and names labeled on her due to her strange way of dressing, refusal to associate with others, and attachment to her sister.

The only reason she was still kind of relevant and worthy to talk about was that she was among the class toppers.

"What I want?" Sheila asked, raising her brows, then nodded. "I want to know why you were not at the party last night. Were you perhaps wondering if you could come in..." Sheila gestured at Karina's clothes, "... These?"

Roars of laughter echoed around the hallway from the students who were standing by and watching. Some were muffled, while others didn't even bother as they laughed freely.

"It's no business of yours why I didn't attend. You should focus your energy on things that are important to you." Karina responded.

"Of course, this is important to me. Why else would I be wasting my time with someone like you if it wasn't?" Sheila queried, her smile quickly switching into a scowl.

"I organized that party so that we could celebrate our progress, but you obviously are an enemy of progress. If what to wear was your problem, you could have told me and I'll help you get party-worthy men's clothing.

But no. You felt you were better than everyone else, therefore you and your mother hen decided not to attend. Isn't that right?"

"Yes. That's absolutely correct, Sheila. Now, will you get your hand off my shoulder before I bite into it with my perfect teeth which are better than everyone else's?"

Sheila's eyes widened subtly before an ugly frown overtook her features. However, she still withdrew her hand from Karina's shoulder. Though she expected the latter's reaction, it still bothers her that Karina could still stand unfazed by all her taunting.

Karina took a step back and was about to walk away when Salome's widened eyes caught her attention.

"Hey... Isn't that Veron's jacket?" Salome's voice echoed, and that alone was enough to attract the other students to come take a look.

Meanwhile, Sheila lowered her eyes to take a proper look at the jacket hanging on Karina's upper arm. The moment she recognized it, the frown on her face worsened, making her look like an angry tiger.

"How did you get that?"
