Fortunately, Gianna didn't take long. Though she was tired, she made at least three to four dishes with her husband's help. Knowing that her son had not had anything in lunch, she felt very upset.
"I will go and call the boys."
Cooper said and left the dining table.
Gianna finally noticed the silent Evelyn still standing at the same place and said immediately
"Evelyn, why are you standing there? Come here."
Evelyn still remembered how scary Gianna looked some time ago but seeing the soft smile on her face again, she felt less scared and walked towards her with slow steps.
Gianna could see that she had scared the girl very much.
She really regretted losing her composure. So she tried her best to behave gently with Evelyn. She even picked Evelyn up and made her sit on a chair.
"Evelyn, from today on this is your seat."
Evelyn's eyes went wide as she touched her chair and blinked at Gianna. A moment later, her eyes lit up with brightness and she said
"Thank you, Auntie."
