WHITE OUT - PART 1

Lord Alexsander's frustration increased as he realized that his greatest need, Sir Nash, was not here, and he didn't know where to look for him. Taking a deep breath, he ran his fingers through his blonde hair. Kane watched as his wife lay on the ground, still talking to Deacon, trying to soothe him.

Looking around the hall, he saw the crowd still gathered and gawking. Kane shouted in annoyance, "GET BACK TO WORK!"

"Except for you, Collin!" the commander gruffly addressed the young knight before he could walk away with the others. Glancing at Sir Collin, Kane knew if he wanted to find the knights sent to guard Christopher and Rose, he would need this man's help.

"Yes, Commander."

"Come along with me. We are heading for Thorn manor. I think Lord Thorn's stable master might hold the answer to what I need."

"What is that, Commander?"

"The whereabouts of Sirs Nash, Haydon, and Bryson," Kane responded to Collin's question.
