The Past and the Future

"I fell asleep all of a sudden."

Feeling as if he'd been in a deep sleep for a very long time, it took a while for Valyr's consciousness to fully return to the waking world.

Though, by the time his consciousness was fully awake, the young man was immediately hit by a wave of confusion as he looked at his current surroundings.

"Where… am I?" Muttering these words to himself, Valyr quickly took note of the fact that he was in a place that was filled to the brim with complex machines and devices.

Aside from that, everything else seemed to be made out of a white metal, faintly reminding him of the lab Vaughn used over a hundred or so thousand years ago to create the humans of Veldanyr today.

Pondering over why he was brought to this sort of place all of a sudden, the young man was soon reminded of the happenings that occurred before he fell unconscious.

"Now that I think about it… I was in my shop before all of this."
