Ragnar was informed about what happened to Aslaugh's home and the similarities to this were uncanny but unlike her Kingdom, the enemy had failed to kill Lagertha.

Ragnar requested a private audience to get more information regarding what had happened.

Aslaug complied and told Ragnar all she knew but there was something that Ragnar found strange.

"How did you escape, Lady Aslaug?" Ragnar asked, his voice filled with suspicion.

He knew that Aslaug didn't have the skills to best his wife and judging from what Skarde had told him, there was no way it was a woman responsible for the attack.

"I do not understand," Aslaug responded but Ragnar didn't have time as he unsheathed his sword and placed it on her shoulder.

"I only call you Lady Aslaug out of respect. You lost that title when your Kingdom fell…" Ragnar said, his voice cold.

Aslaug realized that she could be killed if she said the wrong thing due to Ragnar's mental state.
