Glancing up through the canopy and into the sky, it was clear that sunset would soon be approaching. It had been a few more hours since the fight they had against the antelope and they had, for the most part, not encountered anything that had been any more of a threat than those already were. There *were* a few encounters that had stood out, the most prominent was a strange giant ostrich that camouflaged its neck to look like a tree, but otherwise things had remained quite calm.

What had changed, however, was that Dahlia had begun to gather a small collection of miscellaneous plants that she was now softly whispering to as she walked. Up to this point, everyone had been turning a bit of a blind eye to the behaviour, but now that the day was coming to an end, Josie's curiosity finally got the better of her and she asked the question everyone was thinking.

"So, is there a reason you've made some new best friends? I feel like I'm missing something here…"
