"Hey you, you're finally awake."

Opening my eyes, I held back a grin as I saw the familiar face of Ralof, a Stormcloak soldier.

Sitting beside me was Lokir, a man of mystery, his origin debated by Lore Enthusiasts.

After all, he claims to be from Rorikstead, yet there is no sign of his living there.

Eh, who cares? He dies in like five minutes.

I listened to Ralof's gruff voice as he continued, humming his words as he spoke them

"You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial Ambush, same as us, and that thief over there."

Lokir's nasally voice whined next to me.

"Damn you Stormcloaks! Skyrim was fine until you came along. Empire was nice and lazy. If they hadn't been looking for you, I could've stolen that horse and been halfway to Hammerfell. You there. You and me - We shouldn't be here. It's these Stormcloaks the Empire wants!"

Ralof looked at Lokir with slight disgust, sighing as he turned away, saying "We're all brothers and sisters in binds now, thief."

The Imperial Soldier driving our cart turned, his eyes narrowed as he snarled "Shut up back there!"

I tuned them out, already knowing what they were saying.

Entering Helgen, I looked over towards General Tullius and the small troop of Elven Soldiers, their golden armor gleaming in the pale light.

"Damn elves."

Hearing Ralof, I chuckled, making him turn to look at me.

"What? Ever fuck an elf? Incredibly tight."

I actually had no idea, but hey, seeing Ralof purse his lips while Ulfric chuckled under his gag lightened my mood.

"Are they? I don't know if I could get it up for those knife ears..."

I shrugged, saying "Eh, they just look like any normal chick when they're bent over."

Again, Ulfric chuckled, while Ralof was now sporting a small grin.

"Are you a redguard?"

Looking down at my darker skin, I nodded, chuckling as Ralof leaned forwards and asked in a whisper "Is it true that... you have curved 'swords'?"

I grinned at him, laughing as Ulfric shook his head, his shoulder trembling.

"Some of us..."

Leaning forwards, I whispered "Many a woman has fallen under my mighty curved 'sword'."

Ralof erupted into laughter, making the Stormcloaks from the other carriage look at him in concern.

"I told you to shut up!"

The Imperial turned around, and I just grinned at him, saying "Hey, my heads about to roll for no reason than just crossing the border without a pass. Cut me some slack, eh?"

He just kept glaring at me, before sighing and turning back around.

"Ah, I used to be sweet on a girl around here... made the most wonderful ale with juniper berries..."

Hearing Ralof's nostalgic voice, I gave him a small smile, before the cart came to a halt.

"Why're we stopping?"

Before Ralof could speak, I growled "Because we're to be executed, horse thief. Why else would that large fucker over there be sharpening a gigantic axe?"

The surrounding soldiers, both Imperial and Stormcloak, chuckled, staring at the now cowering Lokir.

Stepping off the cart, I looked at the Imperial Captain holding the list.

Oh, she was much better looking here than in game.

"Lokir of Rorikstead."

Hadvar spoke up, and I watched in amusement as the man ran INTO the city, towards a dozen archers.

"ARCHERS!"

He was turned into a damn pincushion.

Turning towards me, Hadvar furrowed his brow before looking towards the Captain, saying "What should we do? She's not on any list..."

"Forget the damn lists. She goes to the block."

Moving away, I pursed my lips as I watched her petite ass walk away, hugged tight by the leather pants she wore under her armor.

"I'm sorry. We'll make sure your remains are returned to Hammerfell."

I nodded at the man, moving to stand besides Ralof.

As the Priestess of Arkay was shouted at to leave, and the first mans head rolled, I looked at the Captain with a dry gaze.

"Next, the Redguard!"

I smirked at the sound of Alduin's roar in the background, before stepping forwards.

Kneeling in front of the Headsman, I was shoved to the ground, my neck laying in the small groove to make my execution easier.

I watched as Alduin's large, dark body flew around the Throat of the World, before perching on the watchtower.

The earth shook as he landed, but when he roared...

The sky turned red as meteors were hurled to the earth, impacting the building around us and destroying Helgen.

Still staring at me, Alduin... grinned as best a dragon could, letting out a shout.

Hearing the familiar "Fus Ro Dah!", I grinned like an idiot, only to widen my eyes as Alduin spoke again.

"Ah, Mortal. You understand Dragontongue, no? After all, you are no simple Mortal; you reek of Oblivion..."

Ralof pulled me to my feet, however I was staring intently at Alduin.

"I care not for you nor your Prince's actions; after all, we may... help one another in our quests."

As I ran towards the other watchtower, I listened to Alduin continue, making my fear turn to elation.

"You can find me at Skuldafn, should you wish to work together..."

Beating his large wings, Alduin lifted himself into the sky, roaring as he spewed fire over the buildings,

"What in Oblivion was that!? Was that a damn dragon?"

I chuckled, before shuddering when I heard Ulfirc's deep, raspy voice.

"Aye, that looked like a dragon..."

Looking at the Jarl of Windhelm, and leader of the Stormcloak Rebellion, I gulped as I took in his noble attire, that chiseled face and commanding gaze.

Feeling my eyes on him, Ulfric smirked at me, saying "Redguard, you are most entertaining... few could laugh as Sovngarde awaited them..."

I nodded, saying "Why not enjoy the last few moments of your life instead? It's how I've lived over the years..."

Ulfric nodded, before turning to look out the door.

Following his gaze, I pursed my lips as I watched the Imperial Soldiers trying to wound Alduin.

Arrows whistled threw the air, men and women shouting at one another as they scrambled to avoid the deadly fires.

However, what pierced those sounds, as well as the roars of Alduin and the impacts of the meteors, was the screaming.

Soldiers and civilians screamed as they burned alive, and I felt...

Nothing.

In fact, it was alluring, the noises some of these people made as they died.

Tearing my eyes from the sight of a man running past the door as he tried to desperately put out he fire clinging to his armor, I took a deep breath, saying "Well, in a situation like this... every person for themselves, huh? May the Divines favor you."

Nodding to the two men, I scaled the tower, anticipating Alduin's large head easily piercing the tower.

Dropping low, I bit my lip as I felt the heat of his flames above my head, singing a few hairs.

After a few moments I started climbing again, reaching the hole in the tower that looked over the destroyed house below.

My hands were still tied, and I took a deep breath before...

Getting a running start, I hurled myself from the tower, rolling as I landed inside the building.

Sprinting to the far side, I dropped to the ground, joining Hadvar, the old man, and the young boy.

Seeing me, Hadvar looked around the building we hid behind, saying "Prisoner. Stick with me if you want to live!"

Alduin roared as he landed down the street, before a large wave of fire hurtled our way.

Diving to the side, I grimaced again at the heat, before getting back up.

Hearing Alduin return to the sky, I said "Thanks, but I like my odds alone."

Grinning at Hadvar, I sprinted towards the small alley way, hiding underneath Alduin's wing when he landed, roasting a poor soldier who tried to hit him with an arrow.

"I could kill you here and now, mortal."

I chuckled, looking up to see Alduin's large, crimson eye staring at me.

"Well, it's not like you couldn't easily kill me in the future either."

He nodded, before saying "You intrigue me. Go. Entertain me before I devour this world."

Lifting back to the sky, the gales his wings sent through the alley forced me back a step, my hair billowing behind me.

Sighing, I continued forwards, going towards Helgen Keep.

After all, there are so many goodies hiding inside, like a spell tome and magic robes...

Oh, and I had a plan~
