Max had explicitly informed the queen that in the event that he lost control from being consumed by the power of the seeds, she was to immobilise and detain him by any means necessary.

The two had thought long and hard about how to proceed with this plan and about which technique would be best suited to restrain a mad Max and the solution that they came up with was to send Max to an alternate dimension all by himself.
