Xia Wan, accompanied by Liu Hua, returned to the bookstore.

"Because of yesterday, you didn't get the books you wanted. Let's shop properly today, I'll pay!" Xia Wan said generously, patting her chest.

Liu Hua browsed for a long time and was interested in a few hardcover books. After hesitating for a while, she put them back.

Xia Wan, noticing Liu Hua's hesitation, picked up those books and put them in Liu Hua's arms: "That's it! Let's go!"

Leaving the bookstore, both were holding several books.

"Today is a great haul!" Liu Hua exclaimed, "But these books cost so much. When I save enough money, I'll definitely pay you back!"

Xia Wan waved it off, "This is an investment in your future. Just make good use of them, and that's enough."

Liu Hua looked at Xia Wan with gratitude, "I really don't know what to say."

Xia Wan laughed, "No need to be so formal with me!"

"Let's go eat something good, then help out at the shop."
