Return Of An Old Friend.

"Shit!" Caroline slammed her hand on the wall. "I think I know where it is."

"Where?" All of them asked together.

"Elijah took it," She sighed.

"What?"

"Isn't it obvious? Did you guys not see his face?"

Maybe, she was right.

Kol Mikaelson sought out the help of his girlfriend, Davina Claire. She used her magic and found the stake.

The stake was found in the church.

"I should go first." Caroline looked at Klaus.

She had barely gotten time to change into a black t-shirt and jeans.

"Why?"

"It's because of me." She told him. "I can't let him do anything crazy."

"He might have already done it."

"He'll listen to me," Caroline told him. She ignored the last remark. Elijah couldn't die. Not because of her.

"Love, list…"

"Let her go." Kol said quietly.

"Why?"

"She is a better person than us." Kol told her. "She can handle it better than that."

Caroline smiled. She walked inside the house.

"Well, well, well."

Caroline heard a voice. She turned around. A red headed woman stood behind her.

"Caroline Forbes." She let out a high pitched laugh. "I have been waiting for you. Eyeing you! Looking at you! Hating you…"

"Hating me?"

"You have a precious thing of mine."

"I most certainly don't!"

"You have Nik!" She almost shouted.

Caroline's eyes widened. Klaus had told her about this girl.

She was Klaus's ex. But….Wasn't she dead?

Caroline laughed at herself, a little ironically. What was she thinking? Coming back from death wasn't a big deal in the world anymore!

"You are Aurora."

"So, you know about me!"

Caroline ran to the other side of the church.

"No chance of that, darling."

She slammed her hands on the invisible wall, it scorched her. It burned.

"No…!"

"I have big plans for me and you….and Niklaus's brother!"

"Elijah?"

"Yes....Elijah." She laughed. Lunatically.

Elijah? What did Elijah ever do to the crazy woman?

"Me and Elijah, and you." She told Caroline. "We are going to have a lot of fun."

"Listen to…."

"I have one white oak." She explained. "Klaus will choose between you and him."

"What?" She was horrified.

"And Elijah will choose between you and his brother."

Caroline's mouth dropped.

"Either way, a Mikaelson will be dead." Aurora tilted her head, "And it'll be your fault."

"My fault?"

"You took my Niklaus….."

"Your Niklaus?" Caroline laughed loudly.

Aurora stared at her, as she laughed and laughed.

"I think…..Oh my God.." She took the support from one of the benches. "I think I am going to…"

Caroline sat down.

"I'll tell you something, Aurora." She laughed. She held out her left hand, as Aurora's eyes fell on the giant diamond ring on her hand.

"Nik proposed to you?" Her eyes widened.

Klaus had several times told her that he loved her. But he hadn't loved her enough to propose to her. Or maybe he might have, if Elijah wouldn't have interfered.

"Correction." Caroline smiled. "We got married."

"Married?"

"Married!" Caroline repeated.
