My Life, Her Body: Her fiancé now is my husband

"Always with the books, she is not even a topper. What else does she get from those books?" A boy murmured. This was the usual, her books and her dad were her everything. She never cared what others think of her as long as her dad loved her, why? Because he was the only one she had, all her life. But was everything a lie? Was the hope she had all her life, a lie? Was she really the reason for her own misery? Her dad’s? Was she really the reason her mom left her and her dad? No, right? Her dad never blamed her. “Only… if you were never born, she-” “Dad… you don’t mean that, right?” Shylin says, tears streaming down her eyes as she felt thousands of stabs against her poor crying heart, “she wouldn’t have left me…” Her dad adds, lying on the floor, crying his heart out, drunkenly hazed. And that was all for her, her will to live fades away, and so does she. “Evelyn! Why would you try to kill yourself for this scandal?!” An elderly lady shouts, Shylin blinks her eyes, looking around as she finds herself in a hospital room, “Why did you save me?” She cries out, panicking. “Evelyn! We can overcome this, don’t kill yourself just because of this!” “Evelyn? Who is she?” Shylin questions, because they were calling her another name, but the look she received with her question, startled her. What she couldn’t understand was her waking up in a different body, she had no intention of living, then why? “You have no choice, Evelyn but you got to marry him.” The man who claims himself to be her dad says, but she missed her own dad, someone she can not meet, “Why?” “Because you shamed the family!” The man screams in rage. “You cannot marry that man! I am your boyfriend, Evelyn!” The boy shouts, shaking her. Why was she in this mess when this wasn’t even her life? Marrying a stranger when she had a boyfriend who is just as stranger as her to-be husband was, will she be able to handle this new life or just mess it up? Will she be able to be happy? Cursed Quests: Unveiling Nightmares

In the ordinary life of Ram, an unremarkable young Indian man fresh out of university, a series of events unfold that will forever alter his perception of reality and challenge the depths of his courage. Working as a mechanical engineer in a petroleum company, Ram is content with his unassuming existence, despite his average appearance, modest achievements, and shy, introverted demeanour. Plagued by low self-esteem due to his weight, his aspirations remain simple: secure his parents' happiness, acquiesce to an arranged marriage, and build a conventional life. However, Ram has an intense fear of the dark and an aversion to anything related to the supernatural. This fear, combined with his self-imposed isolation, forms the foundation of his reality. But fate is poised to reveal the ultimate irony as Ram receives a life-altering diagnosis: terminal lung cancer with a prognosis of mere months to live. Devastated by this cruel twist, Ram grapples with his mortality and the shattering of his dreams. Just as he is preparing to surrender to his fate, a miraculous intervention disrupts his despair. A mysterious game-like interface, perceivable only to him, offers a lifeline—a chance to extend his existence. The catch: he must complete a series of harrowing quests that confront his deepest fears. As each completed mission grants him an extension of life, Ram is torn between the overwhelming terror of the tasks and his insatiable desire to live. The quests, however, are a symphony of horrors for Ram—an assembly of haunted asylums, abandoned schools, cemeteries, and other ghastly locations. As Ram journeys into the abyss, his life transforms into a whirlwind of chaos and terror. He discovers a reality hidden beneath the surface, a realm populated by malevolent entities, spectral apparitions, and unspeakable horrors. In his desperate struggle to overcome his paralyzing dread, Ram not only battles the nightmares that emerge from the shadows, but he also confronts the demons that have plagued his psyche for years. With each quest, Ram peels back the layers of his existence, unravelling a world where the boundaries between reality and the supernatural blur, and where his very perception of fear is tested to its limits. Will Ram find the fortitude to overcome his terror and secure the future he longs for? Or will he succumb to the darkness that threatens to consume him?

Princess Amy

Chapter 21 Nate Hughes Driving into the compound after what seems like forever, I groan angrily when I spot my mom's car at the parking lot. Fuck! Why didn't give her an excuse not to come here? I should've told her that I went on a business meeting. "Shut it, Nate! As if you don't know she would spend hours waiting for you if she needs to," My subconscious mind remind me of the kind of desperate woman my mom is. Well, I think she's eventually going to kill me before my time. Stepping out of the car, I walk over to the entrance door, and take a deep breath before I push the door open. I almost jump out of my skin when I walk into the living room and find Janice with mom. Fucking shit! She didn't mention that she came with this bitch. Now I have to keep up with the two. "Nate, you're here?" She beams excitedly and stands up to her feet as soon as I walk in, but I ignore her and walks over to sit on the couch tiredly. I left the things I bought inside the car. I'll go get them later. "Good morning, mom. What do I owe this visit, please?" I know this may sound rude, but I just want to piss her off so she will leave angrily, but not that it'll ever happen anyway. She's going to end up beating me later if I try to mess with her. Yes, my mom still beats me at this age, because she believes that I'm still a baby. Correction, her baby! "Where are your manners, Nate?" She glare hard at me with anger written all over her, and I need no one to tell me that things are about to go south, so I better behave myself. "I'm sorry, mom. But this is not fair. Why would you bring her to my house without informing me first?" I complain, but she just rolls her eyes. "Is she biting you as she is here now?" She asks, and I sigh briefly. I should've expected that. My mom's strictness is on another level, unlike dad that doesn't give a damn about whichever way I choose to live my life. I miss that man so much, and I can't just wait for him to be back from his trip. No, we're not living together, but if he's around, mom won't be able to come here often. "Mom, I'm exhausted, and need to get some rest now. I'll call Ariel to make you something to eat. I'll be in my room now," I say to her after I stand up from the couch, and glance over to Janice who's just sitting there with a sad expression on her face. If it was then, I would be so broken to see her in this condition, but not anymore. I can't believe she's the same woman I used to be so in love with back then. It was never my fault that things had to turn out this way, but she fucking betrayed me. How could she be having an affair with my best friend? That's the most disgusting ever. If it were to be someone else, I wouldn't have been so pissed, but my best friend? Hell nah! There's no way I'm ever going to have anything to do with her, ever again. "Sit there, Nate. I want to discuss something with you," She says to me coldly, and I sigh as I throw myself back to the couch, waiting for her to maybe insult me, or rant as always. I don't mean disrespect, but trust me, you'll feel frustrated and depressed if you were in my shoes. "What happened between you and Janice?" Her question awakens the memories I have buried in my heart for so long. When it happened, I kept it to myself because I didn't want mom or anyone else to know about it. "Nothing, mom. I'm not just interested in being her boyfriend anymore. I'm done with her," I can see the pain in her eyes as I say those words to mom, but fuck her! I don't give a damn about how she feels so she better fuck off. "You can't say that, Nate. You told me you love her..." "I loved her, but not anymore, mom. I don't want her anymore..." "That's a joke, Nate. You can't do that. You're going to marry Janice, and that's it!" Mom springs up to her and yell at me. I bite my bottom lip, trying to control the anger that keep trying to consume me.
