Peni Parker x Male!Green Goblin!Reader

SP//dr fought off the Sinister Seven, the ranks included; Doctor Octopus, Rhino, Shocker, Vulture, Kraven, Mysterio and a helper who generally wasn't part of the Sinister Seven, you, Green Goblin. Dust flew everywhere, Mysterio was making them turn into bunnies and attach SP//dr, Rhino would laugh every now and then at the pun but otherwise occupied himself with charging at SP//dr. Shocker was cackling and shooting sparks everywhere. You didn't know what Kraven was doing but you stayed out of his way. Vulture was picking Shocker up and dropping him as close to SP//dr as he could. Doctor Octopus was using his arms to try and puncture SP//dr, which wasn't going so well.

Green Goblin, SP//dr felt didn't really want to be apart of this fight but he couldn't figure out the feeling. SP//dr blasted a hole in the wall and made his escape. The Sinister Seven made their own as well, cutting free of the webbing he had tied around them.

You, Green Goblin however, had gotten hit with the rubble. You woke to an empty warehouse, you didn't remove the mask as you didn't know if you were being watched whether it was by SP//dr or the Sinister Seven. You were right, Peni was crouched on a rooftop, watching you with interest. You removed the mask and Peni gasped. You were her best friend. How had this happened?

After a while, Peni called you once she knew you were home. "Do you want to come to dinner?" You faltered slightly before agreeing. You spent a few weeks with Peni and her family, each moment you spent with her, you began to feel happier than you had in a while.

One day, you were waiting for Peni outside on the fire escape of your apartment building. You noticed something, a shadow dancing along the sidewalk, looking down you saw it Peni, you grinned. More shadows suddenly appeared and Peni disappeared. You jumped down, pulling your mask over your face once you made your outfit appear. You followed the Sinister Six to a warehouse, how many empty warehouses were here anyway? You showed your betrayal once you entered. "Let her go!" There was a hum, before the Six attacked. You managed to push Peni out of the way as SP//dr wasn't here to help her. You meanwhile, were getting your ass kicked by the Six. As the fight was winding down, Doctor Octopus whipped one of his arms towards you and stabbed you. You made you suit disappear so Peni could call for help, as your eyes fluttered shut, you heard Peni talking. "Y/N, you can't leave okay. I like you, I really like you, I think I love you."

You woke a while later in hospital with a blanket that Peni's mother had bought for you. Peni was asleep in a chair, with your jacket thrown over her, another blanket across her legs. "Peni." Your voice was croaky, she woke and jumped up. She was at the side of your bed in a few seconds. "Y/N!" She took your hands in hers. "I really like you too, I think I'm in love with you too." She gave a watery smile at that and kissed your cheek careful to avoid the bruises that decorated your face.
