Duncan felt he had been careless.
He had considered the fact that Alice lacked the common knowledge necessary for living in the human world, but he had not anticipated the extent of this lack. He had thought that she at least could help out a little in the store, yet he didn't expect she wouldn't even recognize money.
But this was quite reasonable.
After all, she didn't need to spend money while lying in a coffin...
"Ah... While Sherry and Nina are out, I might as well continue to teach you," Duncan sighed, helplessly giving up his plan to go out and walk around in the afternoon, "First, we need to make you familiar with some of the most basic things in the human world, like currency..."
