Chapter 172 Vanna's Discovery

Vanna stood silently in front of the staircase leading to the Underground Sanctuary, staring at the black door that had just restored itself before everyone's eyes.

Three hours earlier, she had led her team to this abandoned church, where inside they saw the warm, bright lights, the seemingly normal main hall, a nun quietly praying, and a clean and well-maintained pulpit.

Two hours earlier, she had shaken off the nun, who clearly had been not quite right, and along with the guards, she located the Underground Sanctuary. Upon opening the doors of the Sanctuary, they saw the truth inside—a dark subterranean space, what seemed to be a recently deceased nun with a longsword, signs of battle all around the room, and no trace of the intruders.

Two minutes earlier, she had completed a meticulous scout of the Underground Sanctuary, and along with her subordinates, had brought out the body of the nun, preparing to send it to the Central Cathedral for autopsy and burial.
