"Honestly, father. I don't know how you can keep up with Nicole and Claude. Looking after them for the past week drained me," Colin said.
Duncan chuckled while he looked at his eldest son. He glanced at Fujin who also looked drained. The two of them had been looking after the kids for almost a week, while Julie wrote and managed The Belle.
It was good that the immortals staying with them were regulars. They knew the drill and gave Julie a little headache, simply because they wanted to meet his mate.
He looked down and smiled. Julie was curled on his side, doing her crochet work. Even with the number of things that she had to do, she still had time to relax and do something to keep her hands occupied. She was almost halfway through the scarf she had been making since last week.
Duncan had no idea of the pattern or the stitches she used but the thing looked beautiful. She was using gradient colors from light to dark making the whole scarf look like an array of colors.
