Chapter 64: Fish is right (Edited)

Unaware that his actions had made a certain Dark Lord and his minions hesitate in front of the door, Fish broke it down as usual and ran to Fluffy's side.

Seeing Fish arrive, the three-headed dog, Fluffy, immediately wagged his tail and put all three heads together, trying to lick Fish's body with his long tongues.

"Meow!"

Seeing three tongues almost as big as his own body approaching him, Fish backed up two steps to avoid the attack, then jumped upwards, somersaulted in the air, turned back into a tiger-spotted cat and landed firmly on Fluffy's middle head.

"Meow! Meow!" (I told you not to lick me! You've got too much drool.)

Fish crouched over Fluffy's head, his little paws slapping at his skull.

"Oooh..."

Fluffy dropped down, pressing all three heads to the ground, his two front paws cradling the head Fish had hit with his cat paw, and a loud whimper escaped his mouth.

The sight of a small cat, no bigger than the palm of a hand, intimidating a three-headed, floor-high dog seemed absurd, but in the minds of the two "people" involved it was perfectly normal.

As far as Fish was concerned, Fluffy was a thick-skinned guy, and a couple of whacks wouldn't hurt him.

And for Fluffy: Fish was right!

After throwing a set of cat punches to Fluffy's head, Fish jumped out of his head, returned to his human form, and pulled out of his pocket the magic bag Dumbledore had given him.

Opening the bag, Fish pinched the bottom two corners of the bag and shook it in front of him, out of which came a large pile of roast chicken and bacon.

"Wow!" ×3

Fluffy let out a bark of joy with all three heads, then buried them all in the pile of food in front of him and gobbled it up.

As Fluffy ate the food he had brought, Fish reverted to his cat form and jumped up behind Fluffy, scratching and biting him on the tail, and Fluffy wagged his tail in response, allowing Fish to pounce.

After playing with Fluffy's tail for a while, Fluffy finished his meal and turned around and continued to play with Fish with his paws outstretched, occasionally lifting his three heads and trying to give Fish a lick, only to have him hit him back with his paws.

When Fish got a little tired of playing, he crawled up Fluffy's nose to his head.

"Meow~ (I'm going to sleep.)"

At that point, Fluffy dropped to the ground and arched his neck to pull Fish onto his back, where he jumped off Fluffy's head onto his body and found a relatively flat place to lie down.

Fluffy also rested his three heads on his front paws, closed his eyes and fell asleep next to them.

Professor Quirrell, who was invisible, watched the trapdoor beneath Fluffy with a resigned expression on his face.

As soon as he saw Fluffy, Quirrell knew that he would probably not be able to find the location of the stone successfully.

The three-headed dog's fur was no weaker than the fire dragon's scales in terms of resistance against magic spells, and if his master was still in his prime, he could easily deal with Fluffy, but now that Voldemort could only survive by leaning on him, there was no way Quirrell could deal with the three-headed dog on his own.

[Go back and try to regain some of my strength.]

Voldemort's faint voice reached Quirrell's mind, and he knew that today was not the day to do anything, and that it was not a good time for Quirrell to reveal his identity, as it was still unknown whether or not the stone was under the trapdoor beneath the three-headed dog.

"Yes, Master."

At Voldemort's command, Quirrell's body shuddered slightly and retreated silently to the outside.

Before leaving, Quirrell took one more look at the trapdoor under Fluffy, and the kitten lying asleep on it.

'Maybe... I could find a way to use Fish McGonagall,' Quirrell thought to himself.

"!!!!"

Feeling a shiver in his sleep, Fish got up from Fluffy 's back, looked around cautiously, and found nothing around his, cocked his head in confusion and lay back down.

"Whoa?" (What's the matter?)

When the three-headed dog guarded, even though it was sleeping, one of its heads was still awake, and when it noticed Fish's unusual behavior, the awake head asked in a low voice.

"Meow~ (Nothing.)"

It had happened to him before, when he wandered, he occasionally got a shivering sensation when some human tried to catch him.

When Scarhead and the others had tried to rub him, Fish had also felt it slightly.

According to the knowledge that had somehow appeared in his mind, it was a spell called Beast Intuition, which allowed him to detect the malice of others at certain times... although the chances of it activating were not too high.

Fish didn't even remember when he had awakened it, as if he could have done it from the beginning.

Although Beast Intuition sensed malicious intent from him, he didn't mind too much, because the spell didn't tell him exactly who his enemies were, and because it didn't work once every so often, and even if it did, it wouldn't do him much good.

He'd never been caught by anyone but the mean old man and Minerva, so with or without Beast Intuition, Fish didn't think it would be a problem.

Not suffering any setbacks had made him a much lazier cat than the average cat.

So the lazy Fish adjusted his position and went back to sleep.

After sleeping on top of Fluffy until he woke up, Fish wiggled his ears and slowly got up.

Frowning and stretching, Fish sat up and scratched himself with his hind legs (=?ω<?).

After scratching, came the fur licks.

Thanks to Professor McGonagall's tutelage, Fish had long since given up the habit of licking his sensitive parts, but he was still in the habit of licking his fur and paws.

After the usual routine, Fish jumped out of Fluffy.

"Meow!"

"Woof!" ×3

After the cat and dog said goodbye to each other, Fish went to the door, transformed back into his human form, and replaced the door of the door he had ripped off.

"Repair!" (?ΦωΦ?)つ━☆?*.

By now, Fish was learning to fix things himself, mostly in less conventional and less reliable ways, but occasionally in more normal ways.

After fixing the door, Fish sensed the time and realized it was getting late.

So.

"Comey!" shouted Fish.

"I'm here, Master Fish! Are you going back to your room?"

Comey appeared at Fish's side quickly.

"Drop me off in the common room, meow, your chattering will disturb Scarhead and the others," Fish nodded, then remembered what he had read in the storybook yesterday and gave specific instructions.

"Master Fish... Professor McGonagall would be very pleased if she knew," Comey said.

But to Fish's surprise, his casual remark brought tears to Comey's eyes.

"Meow?"

What's wrong with house elves? and what does this have to do with Minerva?

Fish watched in confusion as Comey blew his nose with a crumpled rag, having no idea why he was crying.
