Chen was in the police station, arms crossed as he looked through the window.
Korra was next to him, and Lin was staring at him with piercing eyes. The former had been explaining what happened, and how a giant phoenix appeared and caused a lot of destruction to the city's structure.
The whole time, Lin was looking at Chen, whose mind was somewhere else.
Chen didn't know what to do, now that he calmed down.
The spirits had declared war against him and the Avatar.
Not only so, but they wanted to kill everyone he'd interacted with.
Honestly, he didn't mind losing some of his teammates or father-in-law.
Korra was strong enough to protect herself. But Asami… he couldn't handle the memory of that phoenix threatening to kill her.
Chen didn't know what to do. But he knew he was pissed off and he wanted someone dead.
"Hey, tough boy," Lin said. "Are you deaf?"
"Yes. What do you think?" Chen replied.
"You know, I can get you off the bat this time." She said. "But the city president may not be happy with the destruction that happened."
"The only reason a cheap politician gives a shit about public damage is that it damages his approval rate," Chen said, somehow pissed off. He slammed his hands on the table and stood up. "No politician gives a fuck of how many had died. All they care about is how much money they'll need to rebuild the shit that has been destroyed. They blame anyone to absorb the public rage so their approval rate doesn't decline. And I ain't paying."
"Alright. You're still pissed off." Lin turned to Korra. "So it seems something about the spirit."
"So it seems," Korra replied.
"I guess that's Tenzin's thing." Lin shook her head. "But apparently, he's a spiritual failure."
"Tenzin, no way." Korra shook her head. "He's an airbender, he should know something."
Chen shook his head. He'd already told Lin that Tenzin is just a fake.
He stood up, turned to the door, and said. "I'm leaving."
At any rate, there was no one in the world who could help him.
He could take Korra with him, but she's important to him.
It meant that Chen had to go and fight the spirits alone.
They may be ancient and strong. But they aren't invincible. Zhao had killed the moon's spirit with a knife, and so be it.
However, they were still very strong.
He didn't know how many of them were there — which made it very hard.
There is that phoenix, dragon — obviously — and the spirit of knowledge. He didn't know how many other spirits are that they had convinced to join their cause — which was killing Chen and everyone he'd known.
Before leaving, Chen turned to Korra and said. "Don't tell Asami."
If she knew, she would come with him.
"Too late. You think that destruction would go without anyone noticing. Everyone knows that a giant phoenix was fighting us. How am I supposed to hide something the whole city knows."
"True." Chen exhaled a sigh, frustrated.
"If you're going, I'm coming with you."
Chen paused for a second, turned to Korra, and he thought of something.
Maybe, maybe there should be a way for him to defeat the spirits.
Suddenly, he could see on Korra's forehead something alluring. A big sign with "EXP" carved on it.
"Not yet." Chen smiled widely at Korra.
If he could knock her out while she was in her Avatar state, he would get a huge amount of experience.
After all, she was the strongest person in the world.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Oh, you'll remember nothing."
-x-X-x-
Chen was standing in the backyard of Asami, Korra facing him
"Are you sure this is going to work?" Korra asked him.
"Yeah." Chen nodded.
"If this is going to make you stronger, so be it."
"Alright."
Korra's eyes glowed in white colour, and Chen approached her, opening his arms widely before hugging her.
Korra shivered for a second as she had known what will happen.
"Don't worry, no one remembers what happens once they get electrocuted."
"I know," Korra said. "I've thought about that. But I wanted to leave it for the bed."
"I'll compensate for you, I promise." Chen's whole body glowed up in a blue lighting armour.
Korra resisted for a long time. But eventually, her body went limp.

Just as soon as she fell, he held her from the back of her head, not wanting her to touch the ground.
Soon, a green healing fire spread from his hands as he hugged her closer to him, kissing her forehead.
After ten minutes of healing, Korra's eyelids started shaking

Title: The Dragon Avatar
Accumulated experience: 500.000]
He had enough experience to level up one of his specialities to level 19. But that won't be enough.
Maybe, he should invent his experience in his flame generation.
After all, it had helped him earn a fire to with attribute.
Using 200.000 exp on his Flame Generation, he got the next notification.
[ Flame Generation up to level 19]

"Hey." Korra smiled as she opened her eyes. She looked around, and she muttered. "Why am I here?"
Chen put his hand on her lips.
Although her had wanted to knock her out one more time, his heart couldn't bring it to do it.
However, he must do what he'd to do.
"Mind if I knock you out one more time."
Korra squinted her eyes, seeming to try to remember. "How?"
Chen shook his head. Wouldn't it be easier if he could bring the spirit of light out of her and knock it out instead?
Hold on… there's the spirit of light inside of Korra, one of the oldest two-spirit, Raava.
It should know how to deal with the spirits in the library. Maybe, it knows a way for them to close that library and stop it from showing to the world.
Also, given its nature, it should be able to sense the old ancient spirits' energy. It could provide Chen with information about who he would go against and how many were they.
"Korra, can you call the spirit inside of you." He said to his clueless second lover.
"Huh?" Korra titled her head.
"The white thing," Chen said, calling the only thing he'd remembered about Raava.
"You mean your sperm?" Korra said. "Hold on. I don't think I can hear you well, let me rest a bit."
Before he could answer, Korra's chest glowed up in white colour, blue patterns appearing on her ribs. It almost pushed Chen away.
"Are you talking about me?" a feminine voice came from her chest.
