The Call And Hunt

Some people could describe a siren's call akin to an unstoppable nagging to the brain that controls one's body to go to the he siren. The term had been used figuratively countless times but Alex could feel it at the moment. This siren's call however was towards a certain power, a power that was the main weakness to her entire existence, biokinesis. This power can let its wielder to control the biology of lifeforms and she was a mass of santient virus, the weilder would just kill her with a thought.

"Joshua Foley," she growled out the name of the person who hold the strongest form of biokinesis and the only one she could beat. Mr Sinister was in the list but she wasn't dumb enough to go after him. Only someone as stupid as Jean Grey or have balls of steel like Wolverine would put him as a target. So, her target naturally became Joshua Foley.

"Right then, he should be the next target. But first, I really need to make sure that old bitch does not follow me," she said to herself. She theorized that the Ancient One might suggest to the Living Tribunal about his connection to dimensions. As one of the most powerful beings, the Living Tribunal would not have trouble finding the dimensions and in turn, locating her which would bring nothing but trouble for her. So, she did the next best thing, she disconnected herself with all the dimensions and killing the magical path for herself. Her was more important than an increase of combat power.

"I really need to find Joshua Foley," she coughed, feeling herself weakened by a great deal. With a sigh, she punched at the space in front of her and a star shaped portal opened up. She jumped inside and found herself staring at five people wearing X-Men jump suits. They were Wolverine, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Storm and Colussus. They stared at him with questioning eyes but she wasn't in the mood to start talking. Why? Mutants were very dangerous and you would never know what would happen at any time. A reality warper would just appear in front of you and wipe you out of existence, no questions asked. If she were to be honest, mutants scared the heck out of her so she had to do this as fast as she could.

"Shit, the infinity stones are not working here," she cursed once she tried to access the space stone. She threw them down angrily before sprouting two eagle wings behind her and she took to the sky, leaving the X-Men flabbergasted.

"Did she just throw down two infinity stones?" Cyclops asked, incredulously.

Alex hijacked a police car, killed the corpse as fast as she could so that if any of them had a powerful mutation, he could not activate it in time. With previous knowledge, she knew how to get into their database and very soon she had gotten the address to Joshua Foley's house. She did not delay and used the car to get to the place as fast as she could.

When she got to the house, she marched into it, smashing the door out of her way. There he was, the mutant she was looking for, still a boy. He was playing snakes and ladderswith another boy and when he saw her, his entire being shook. His mutation awakened and he could see her real form, mass of virus just radiating death! Fear froze him up, all thoughts in his head just froze! Be was just a six year old boy and he had never seen anything remotely as terrifying as the being in front of her.

Alex did not hesitate any longer, her hand elongated and pierced through his heart. She brought him closer, transformed her mouth into a maw full of sharp teeth and with a chomp, half his body was gone and the rest followed with another chomp.

Biokinesis was the true Kryptonite to a mass of santient virus or to any disease and absorbing it was like the final boss getting the final piece of his self that would make him more powerful. As the power flowed through her, changing and strengthening her cells, she had the urge to scream 'I am complete!' but was too high on the feeling to even shout in exhilaration. Once the powerup was done, she grinned as she thought of the second target. Since this was the real universe 616, the target would be even more powerful than the MCU one.

"I must consume him," she grinned before the same wings sprouted behind her and she took off towards the Avenger's tower.

This world had the Avengers and they lived in the Avenger's tower making it super convenient for her to find the target. It was more convenient when she found all the Avengers out on the fields, training. With a crash, she landed on the fields, making all of them turn to look at her.

"Uhmm, who's the cosplayer?" Tony asked out loud.

"I can sense the energy of my brother inside of her. It might be Loki in disguise," Thor warned them and they all took combat poses. Hulk even roared at her.

"I'm in a fucking rush so I'm gonna make this quick," she said then with just a thought, gave all but Hulk and Thor stage four lung cancer! They all fell to the ground weakly and coughing, making the two look at the scene with horror.

"Loki, release my friends from your sorcery or I will smash open your skull with my hammer!" Thor roared as thunderous clouds gathered above all of them. Hulk's muscles tensed, ready to attack at anytime.

"Yeah, that's not gonna happen," Alex said before flooding Hulk with seratonin, basically making him super giddy with happiness. Thor just heard him start laughing before he shrank down to Bruce Banner, who did not look like Mark Ruffalo, and continued laughing to no end. Only the two of them were left.

"Do you know why I am targeting you?" she asked Thor and when he was about to answer, she cut him off. "It's because of your potential. All that untapped power just waiting for you to stumble half assed into it. It makes me mad. So, I will make all of it mine and then, not even the Living Tribunal can dare chase me around like a rabid dog."

Thor was about to start his rant when he felt something change inside him. Alex had connected with his DNA and started manipulating it to release its untapped power. Thor was the son of Ordin and Gaia meaning he had one of the most overpowered and unfair origins in Marvel. While he would have unleashed his full potential someday, it would have taken a long ass time but with biokinesis, all she had to do was stimulate his DNA and he would become an existence like Rune King Thor in seconds.

The clouds above them boomed with thunder, lightning flashed every few milliseconds and the entire solar system shook as Thor screamt. His entire body was emitting a beam lightning so long it licked the sky. His screams so powerful the had actually thrown all the Avengers around him far away! This phonemenon had even stirred the Celestials, making them hurry towards Earth in wonder at where this powerful energywas coming from. Finally, after a minute of Goku level power up, Thor stopped screaming and looked at his hands in shock and wonder.

"By Odin, this power...I have never felt anything like this before!" he gasped. Too bad he did not get to even think anything else when Alex made her move. His body cleaved itself into three parts, leaving him stunned and b fore he could even die, for the vitality he now process would make even Deadpool jealous, Alex had consumed him and just like that, she had gotten the power of the same existence of Rune King Thor!

"So this is power!" she said to herself as she looked at her fingers that were sparking with lightning. She stretched her hand to the sky and released the lightning to the clouds. The heavy clouds that had covered the entire Earth suddenly glowed golden with the lightning she had unleashed into it.

"This! Is! Power!" she screamt as she continued unleashing the lightning before a star shaped portal appeared behind her. She walked throught it and the portal closed in front of her. The Avengers felt the cancer just disappear, making them feel relieved for half a second before they came to the realization that a member was killed in front of them and they had no way of helping him. Bruce Banner stopped his laughing fit, wiped tears from his eyes before those of sadness flowed out. Hulk and Thor would be termed as friends due to their constant interactions and bickerings which resulted to frequent brawls. He could feel how sad Hulk was and with it, burning rage.

"This can't be happening!" Tony Stark said in disbelief. They were so used to success that failure was just too foreignuet thehhad tasted it. Wasp could not even formulate words and Hawkeye was just staring at where Alex had disappeared blankly.

"We just lost without even fighting!" Hank Pym said in denial. "How can this happen?"
