"Magic is so much fun!" Alex laughed as she transmuted a rock to become water. She was sitting on top of a roof practicing the magic that she got from the three sorcerers. Apparently, they were Master level sorcerers which was kinda disappointing regarding to how quick she had killed them.
"Just how far have my offensive skills soared?" she asked herself. She produced a magic circle made of runes, a summoning spell in which a giant made of light appeared, making the sun in the sky dim some bit.
"Who summons me?" the giant roared, making the air around it tremble. Alex quickly cancelled the summon, making the giant disappear.
"Whoa, that was a being on a whole new level, shit!" she cursed, slightly fearful of her discovery. "But, that was cool as fuck." She transfigured a rock into a mug and transmuted air into beer.
"Nothing can beat magic!" she laughed. She was halfway down her mug when she heard scifi noises behind her, prompting her to turn around. A yellow rectangular doorway thing had materialized and from it came six people in heavy gear and batons.
"Got eyes on the time variant!" one of them shouted once they got eyes on her.
"Hello," she greeted them. "Beer?"
"Variant, surrender peacefully or we will be forced to use excessive force on you," one of them, an African American woman who seemed to be the leader, warned her, pointing the glowing end of her baton at her.
"I don't know what you expected when you came here but I assure you one thing, you are all going to die very gruesomely," Alex warned them, transmuting the mug and beer into a long sword. "See, I just came across a certain set of skills, skills that I can use to slowly kill you at my convenience."
"Take it down!" the leader ordered.
The five surbodinates rushed at her, batons already swinging at her. Alex sneered as she quickly put her sword in the way, blocking all five buttons simultaneously. Suddenly, the sword started turning to particles of light. It was sudden and fast that she was sure no normal person could react to it. But, her reflexes were to the point of catching even a speedster off guard. She let go of the sword and with a sidestepped, got out of the range of the batons.
The five were obviously well trained for they regained their footing, immediately going after her with masterful coordination. But Alex was just to nimble, dodging their attacks with less to no effort. She noticed how they were slowly making her turn her back towards their leader and grinned once she realized what they were doing. But, she let them continue doing it because it somehow brought her glee to crush the hopes of her preys. That did not mean she would make it easy for them.Swiftly, she disarmed one of them then stabbed him with the glowing part of the baton. The man screamt in pain as he was turned into light particles in a few seconds. This made the others stop as their shock was apparent.
"You pruned him!" one of them shouted in anguish only for Alex's left hand, which had turned into a blade, to stab through his chest. The man looked down at the giant dark coloured blade made of flesh with fear before his entire body was turned into biomass. Alex quickly cast a spell that sent a shockwave towards all of them, sending them flying away. She took this chance to sift through the memories of the man.
"Oh, so that's what you all are," she chuckled once the memories had been assimilated. "The TVA, Time Variance Authority, glorified time travellers that try to make sure everything go according to your masters' predetermined path!"
"How did you know that?" the leader asked as she got up. The rest of her men had received the most damage for being too close to the shockwave initiation thus they were out cold.
"Your man just told me, rather, just showed me his entire life. Did you know he was a variant before joining the TVA? Someone must have wiped his memories and set him into this path," she answered with a mocking laugh. "Something tells me you all are the same!"
Alex suddenly moved, going too fast for the woman to even register, appearing behind her, holding her TemPad while the woman's upper body slowly slid off her lower body. Alex looked at the TemPad with a Cheshire smile. She had gotten herself a time travel device and now she could go at any point of the MCU timeline.
"The TVA, such a useful organization. Allowing a monster like me to have access to all the timelines! This is fantastic!" she laughed before she went back to the corpse of the woman and took her reset charges. "If I'm gonna make sure there are no butterfly effects down the line then this timeline must be reset." She looked at her TemPad and set her destination. She grinned sinisterly then set down a reset charge and activated it. She then activated the TemPad, walked safely through the time door, leaving the whole timeline to be destroyed. That way, she never existed in there and so, the MCU timeline would continue on as it should be, unaware of the danger it now is in.
