Chapter 78: Orc Lord and the General

Lu Xie was sweating as she thrust her sword and practice her footwork, her body didn't practice for almost half a year now.
So it's a little stiff but after practicing and training for a few days her body soon got used to it. Earlier she had ridden the horse through the forest with a bow to shoot targets around the place.
It was very fun, now she's having push-ups on the ground.

Lu Xie breathed laboriously, "haa...haa...finally...done" she whispered she had been training for a few days without stopping.
[Host, I have been monitoring the frontlines and we are getting pushed back after the original owner was gone]
Lu Xie propped up the ground and run her fingers through her hair.
"Ali send a message to my father that I'm coming back, I'm sure he is watching me from afar" Lu Xie stood up from the ground and pat her clothes.

Lu Xie returned to the house and took a short shower she was lazy to cook so she just went to bed early.
The next day,
A carriage came to the house with a butler, "Miss, the master has agreed to let you return" the butler bowed respectfully
He looked at the miss and saw that her face no longer had a scar but her eyes were covered with a cloth. He was about to reach out to help her but surprisingly she easily got in.
"I'm fine now, so don't worry," Lu Xie said lightly then sat on the carriage
The butler bowed, then sat on the driver's seat "Heya" he lightly wiped the horse soon the carriage started to move
Lu Xie was leaning on her right arm looking outside "I can't wait to see the look in his eyes" she sneered her eyes condensed in her covered eyes.
Meanwhile,
In a large office, a middle age man was signing papers then he sighed heavily. He looked at the maid in the room patiently waiting by the side.
"How is she?" he asked lightly
The maid knew who he is mentioning "The young miss had changed recently, she was in the training ground practicing. And I saw that the scar on her face disappear and her eyes were covered with cloth" she said respectfully
The man looked at the maid, she had no reason to lie. Then he looks at the ceiling he knew that his daughter was a hard-working person and saw all her contributions.
But because of that accident, she was so depressed and her mood became sour. He couldn't even calm her down so he had no choice but to her away.
Now, that her mentality is okay he was still not calm about it.
"Watch over her for now," he ordered
"Yes master" the maid bowed
The man then resumed working.

In a few hours, the carriage reached the Lu mansion. It stopped by the entrance with maids waiting in a line outside.
The butler went down and then opened the carriage door, a woman with beautiful dark blue hair came out of the carriage without help.
"Welcome home young miss" the maids all bowed respectively
Lu Xie nodded coldly, then stepped inside the house easily.
"My goodness, is that really the young miss" a maid whispered
"Her scar is gone and now her eyes are covered" another maid whispered
"*sigh* the young miss is pitiful"
"I agree"
Lu Xie walked toward her father's office without asking where she is, this shocked the butler who followed behind.

"Come in" a man's voice resonates inside
Lu Xie twisted the knob and then pushed it open "I have returned father" she said politely
Lu Huan looked at his daughter and was relief she is calm "Welcome home my daughter" he welcomed her warmly
"Thank you, father" Lu Xie bowed
"Come sit here, let's talk" Lu Huan stood up from his chair to sit on the sofa
Lu Xie nodded and then sat accurately on the sofa, Lu Huan was stunned then waved his hand at the butler and maid.
He also sat down on the opposite side.
"Now that your back, I'm sure you didn't just return after calming yourself right?" Lu Huan asked softly
Lu Xie nodded "Yes, father it's time for me to get my revenge in a fair way" she emphasize the latter words
Lu Huan looked at his father though he can't see her eyes he knew that she was serious "I'm glad, but how are you going to get revenge when you haven't touched a sword for half a year and your eyes are covered" he asked worriedly
"Don't worry father, I can still fight like this" Lu Xie said mildly
"Axie your blind how can you fight with him with your eyes covered," Lu Huan said a little angry
Lu Xie knew the worry her father so she can only show it "Then how about the test it father if I'm capable of fighting in this state" she said calmly
Lu Huan looked at her then sigh and nodded "Alright, but if you lose just stay here and let me handle everything" he said seriously
"Yes father" Lu Xie nodded
"Then let's go" Lu Huan stood up and went toward the door
Lu Xie followed him behind, she followed as if she can see her way.
On the training ground, there were knights training, they were wearing thin shirts and long black pants they sweat heavily but their eyes were firm in training.
Out of the corner of their eyes, they saw the Duke followed by a woman with her eyes covered but her hair is what's obvious it was the young miss.
Only she had that beautiful and silky dark blue hair in this mansion not to mention they watched her grow up into a beautiful yet strong woman.
Lu Huan would always look back slightly to see if his daughter can follow and surprisingly she did.
They arrived at the training ground and all the soldiers stopped and then greeted them.
"Welcome master and young miss" they all chanted together
"At ease, the reason I'm here is that I need soldiers who want to have a match with my daughter," Lu Huan said firmly
The soldiers all looked at each other "But master the young miss is blind" a soldier asked politely
"There is no need for you to worry, just spar with her" Lu Huan answered
Lu Xie just stood there watching but no one raise their hand so she took a wooden sword and stepped up.
"Why are you all hesitating, just because I'm like this doesn't mean you can look down on me" Lu Xie shouted
"B...but yon~" he was cut
"YOU COME HERE" Lu Xie pointed her sword at the person who spoke "Instead of saying excuses come up here and spar with me"
The soldier gritted his teeth and took his wooden sword then stood up, he walked toward her.
"Then let's start the match," Lu Huan said
The soldier ready his position, with the sword pointing upwards looking at the woman in front of him.
"You attack or I should," Lu Xie said coldly
The soldier held the sword tight and then rushed toward her then slashed vertically.
**CLANG**
**THUD**
The audience was dumbfounded, at what just happened. Lu Xie blocked his attack, hit him with her elbow, and thrust her sword that hit his chest it happened so fast that they reacted late.
"On my god"
"That was so fast"
"How could it be!?"
Even Lu Huan didn't expect it, all he wanted was to give his daughter a peaceful life here in the mansion but it seems like her faith is on the battlefield.
"Stop lazing around, come whoever wants to get their asses kicked" Lu Xie spat
The soldiers then stood up one by one and face her, Lu Xie smiled inwardly.
"Then let's have fun shall we" Lu Xie snickered lightly
The soldiers all charged forward to attack, Lu Xie, being nimble like a snake dodged all incoming attacks while also attacking. Lu Xie blocked the person on her side and then dodge the attack above.
She then rushed toward a soldier, jumped lightly in the air thrust her sword forward at a person blocked out.
The soldier lost consciousness at that moment, and the other soldiers were stunned. They all looked at her as if she was a devil in the battle she was merciless.
Soon pile and pile of blocked-out soldiers lay on the ground, they all suffered a huge amount of damage to their faces and body.
Lu Xie had fun with them being her punching bag and she can see that the attack would get stronger and stronger, but she still had her skills so her ability to learn is much faster than anyone.
"How can you call yourself proud soldiers when you can't even manage to hit me at least once" Lu Xie shouted
There were a few soldiers who regained some of their senses.
Lu Xie throw the sword away and looked at her father, Lu Huan sighed and nodded
"Thank you, father" Lu Xie exclaimed happily
"*sigh* just be careful not to get hurt anymore okay," Lu Huan said softly as he patted her head gently
"Yes father hehe" Lu Xie giggled
Lu Huan smiled as he heard his daughter giggling, no amount of treasure can compare to his daughter's happy face and beautiful smile.
