Avoid Ash?

He chose a bike whose model was a lot like his. Although it was a lower model, he felt it would do. 

The crowd cheered, and many people raised placards with Ashley's name on them. Yes, he was their biggest bet. 

Even when they introduced the bikers, most people in the crowd booed at him and the others and yelled like crazy when it was Ash. 

That was pretty messed up. He could understand why Ashley always won. That alone was enough to dampen his mood. 

The engines roared, speeding past the crowd to the main track, where the real game began. 

As much as he hated to admit it, he was in the third position out of five the first five minutes into the race.
