WHEN TOMORROW COMES

AZAR POV

She never said it back, not once as she said it back. In all the years I've known her and I've been married to her, she never said those three special words. I watched her sleep, her peaceful face illuminated by the soft moonlight that filtered through the curtains. She looked so serene, so innocent, as if all the troubles of the world had melted away. But deep down, I knew that wasn't the case.

It had been like this for years now. Ever since that fateful day when I erased her memories of her previous mate, my half brother, hoping that she would finally love me. I had tried everything, showering her with affection, providing for her every need, and yet, she remained distant. She never reciprocated my feelings, never said those three words that I craved to hear.

It's always like even when the bond is broken Ivan still remained inside her mind like the vermin that he was. Though she didn't know it yet since she lost her memory but it was still the same.
