After Ale had his little talk with Alex, the Prince bade his goodbye.

But before he left, he gave Ale a small round object.

"This is...?"

Ale knew what it was but asked nonetheless. He was actually a little surprised. He hadn't imagined he'd get his hand on this thing so early in this timeline.

"It's a 'communication device'."

Alex explained.

"Our mage tower's latest creation. It's not in the market yet."

Alex almost looked proud as he said that. But then he remembered he was in the presence of greatness and toned it down.

"Communication device.. so you're telling me.. i can.. like.. communicate with people using this?"

Ale asked, pretending to be surprised and a little baffled.

Alex nodded his head and grinned.

"Yep. Remember how we talked about installing a teleportation portal in your duchy? I told my mages about that and they came up with this thing."
