"Then...it shouldn't be a problem for you to know why she has lost her memory, right?"

"Jasmine, lost her memory? She seemed to recognize everyone else perfectly well." Gu Jin was taken aback by the head butler's question. 

The head butler nodded, his expression serious.

"Yes, she remembers people and events, but there are gaps, important ones. Especially concerning the events that led up to her condition."

Gu Jin took a deep breath, processing this new information. "What exactly happened to her? Why was she in that condition?"

The head butler sighed,

"Even we don't know. When we found her...she was in a very bad state."

"What do you mean you don't know? Was there no indication of what happened to her?"

The head butler shook his head, frustration evident on his face.

"We found her unconscious...as for the place...well, I can't say it. Do you perhaps know why she has lost her memory?"
