Chapter 72

They made it home but only because Hakjun told them to rest. He couldn't say no, still guilty of what happened even though they knew it wasn't his fault. Ren didn't bother him after they made dinner. The food is tasty but both of them had a problem with swallowing so they only take small portions. Jamie takes a bath after and stays in his room. His phone is beeping with text messages abandoned on the edge of the bed.

Jamie's thoughts were full of fear and memories of the accident. Jamie knew that it was not wise to linger on his memories of the crash but it was like a broken cd playing to his brain and it makes him crazy. 

He changes comfortable clothes, a hoodie, and plain sweatpants. He dried his hair and settled in bed.
