After the last three of his targets came out innocent without any suspicion points about them, he started to act erratic and depressed. Although he would smile when he talked to her, it was his usual fake one. A professional one that tries to hide his emotions.
But Sheva didn't point it out, they came together for a singular goal and there was not much going on between them. And even though Max bought her a gun as an apology, it was just that, a professional-level apology.
From his little actions and habits, Sheva had come to conclude that Max was just using her like she intended to do with Max. Though it was for this very reason, she understood that more would be needed to take on such a big work.
