[: Daniel POV :]

''Daniel...''

Her eyes, still adjusting to the new reality she was presented with, were fixed upon me.

I could tell she was trying to comprehend it all.

All the power that had been granted to her in a fleeting moment; how much had changed for her in such a short time.

There was an unmistakable air of excitement about her and I gave her a warm smile, ''Do you like it? The powers that I have granted to you?'' 

No words came from her initially, as if she were trying to take it all in.

But then without warning she stepped closer and embraced me tightly.

When she pulled away I noticed a haunting glow in her eyes, not of sadness, but of joy.

She answered softly, ''I liked it very much...''

Her unspoken emotions told me more than any spoken word ever could have.

''Do you have anything to say?''

I queried, eager to hear what my beloved had to say.
