Forbidden

Blair rejoiced until a bird unceremoniously swooped in and snatched Cat. 

It flew down to its nest and spewed the butterfly into the mouths of its babies. The students and their teacher stood in shock and horror as the birds ate what was once Cat. It threw up more of the poor little butterfly onto the babies' mouths. 

Hartmut was crying as their hard work broke into pieces, literally. Hershey was pale, internally screaming, while Cadmus was frozen still. Blair was watching all their reactions in silence, expression flat.

'Nevermind. Nature is scary.'

They were still given a passing grade for compensation.
