The destruction that the quasi-Sage-level beasts caused was indiscriminate. Even though they were barely left alone for a single millisecond before the swift Masters and Sages intervened, they killed countless Sekigaharans in the blink of an eye.

They also destroyed large swathes of crucial infrastructure. The Sekigahara Confederate ended up in a position that was even worse than that of the Britannian Empire. 

Out of all the Sage-level powerhouses in the world, they were in the most precarious position. If not for the Sages, this nation would have been long wiped off the map. 

Rui grew extremely serious at this realization.

Even he managed to put aside his many, many grievances with the Sekigaharans and regard the situation objectively.
