109. Special shifters

"You didn't have to do that," Darren said to Kora. She looked up at him and at Rosie and Raven. Rosie seemed to have calmed down as she moved closer to Raven. 

"I will miss them," Kora said in a low voice. Though her words were warm, her expression was blank and her tone nonchalant.

Darrem looked at her and almost couldn't tell whether she meant it or not but knowing her for a while now he knew she meant it, though she did not show it.

"We can always come for a visit and they can do the same," Darren said understanding her reason for saying that. Which was a good thing for him, as he had gotten the answer to his unasked question, would she go with him?

Although had told Lazarus that he will be taking her she still hadn't said she was going with him and didn't want to force her into moving in with him. 

"I know but it won't be the same," Kora said, her rine still casual and relaxed.
