-Jerusalem,
Early morning, in Rashid Abubakar's residence. Rashid Abubaker's first wife, Shifa Hanan was sweeping the bedroom when she heard the sound of the main door being knocked consecutively. She put down the broom and walked to the main door, not pleased that she was receiving morning visitors when tea was not even ready.
In the several years she had been married to Rashid Abubaker, she had learned to cope with his mannerism. The good and the bad, and what he hated was having visitors over when the tea was not ready to serve them. Shifa Hanan was meant to be doing the cleaning in the house while her co-wife Halima Zaituna was to do the cooking and collecting of water.
'I pray it is not a visitor this time, our husband will not be happy with us.' She told herself as she opened the latch on the door. Instead of opening the door fully, she opened it a few inches and peeked out to see who was out there.
