The Plan - Chapter 10

Alan spoke and gave his reasons. Marcus and Relia nodded but said nothing. All three people around the campfire delved themselves into the food and did not speak to each other for some time.

Alan takes a deep breath, finishes some of the food, and starts to work on his plan. If there is no other choice but to kill these two for some reason given to him by Pandora, There is nothing he can do.

It is not like he thinks of them as enemies. It is just survival. Nothing personal at all. What he can do if there is nothing he can do other than kill them Just let himself be killed because of two strangers. No, that was not going to happen.

"Killing them when they are sleeping is a good idea, but too much of a cliche, and I believe they will be alert at that time."

"I should not try to kill them in the night while they are sleeping." Compared to that, spending one safe night with me will give them assurance that they can trust me.

"After they trust me, the only thing I need is to separate them from each other and perform a surprise attack."

The food was over, and the trio buried the leftover meat in the dirt to keep it from decaying for some time, while they sat around the campfire and laid down on the ground.

Marcus and Realia looked at each other for two seconds before putting their heads on the ground to sleep. Their eyes told them one simple thing. "Be careful for the night," they said, and they were grateful that this strange man they just met gave them food for the night and day.

But it does not mean that; they trust him just like that. They still don't know what kind of past he has or where he came from to play this sick game of Pandora. What if he was a criminal on earth or, even worse, a serial killer? It is a long-shot guess, but it can be.

In the end, with a simple thought They cannot trust a man; they don't know the past of it just because he gave them food. It is just foolhardy behavior that one can display. They are not fools or kids to be taken advantage of.

Alan notices some things about the duo's behavior but does not mind it. He looks like he is not paying any attention to them. not noticing their looks at each other at all. He already has a plan in mind and is not thinking of changing it for the time being.

Everything should go according to plan; changing the plan or making some mistakes is not a good thing. Not at this stage; one bit of suspicion at this stage may hinder all of his future plans. He does not want to see that. He just needs to be patient and stay calm. The chance of killing these two will increase as time goes on.
