Chapter 199: Battle of Uzu (II)

Sakumo blitzed directly beside Kori, with him attempting to slash the man in half, though Kori manipulated his blades to block the attack and begin counterattacking, with him him nearly decapitating Sakumo if not for the man's enhanced senses granted thanks to his Sage Mode.

"Sage Art: Lightning Fang!" 

The lightning off of Sakumo's blade suddenly took form, with it shaping into the form of hounds that charged at Kori.

However, before the attack could hit Kori, the man suddenly created two soldiers made of ice, with them both blocking both hounds while seemingly acting autonomous from him.

Just then, Danzo swooped in an attempted to impale Kori, though one of the soldiers merely pushed him away and took the attack, with it being destroyed by the sharp winds that the blade emmited.

"Tch." Danzo clicked his teeth in frustration as he spun around and attempted another attack on Kori, though the man could only retreat.

'I gave him a perfect opportunity to use that Jutsu again, but he didn't. It must mean that the technique is far too chakra extensive for him to use it repeatedly. So, Sakumo and I will need to trickle down his chakra reserves so that he can't avoid that.' Danzo thought as he spat several wind blades at Kori.

"Ice Style: Ice Clone." 

Suddenly, the ice at their feet morphed to become around 10 copies of Kori, with him then sending five towards Danzo and five towards Sakumo while he took off in the direction of the rest of the Shinobi army.

Seeing this, Sakumo morphed a massive amount of lightning around his blade, with him blasting straight through all five clones and stabbing Kori through his side.

However, before Sakumo could fully retreat, Kori responded immediately by freezing Sakumo's shoulder, though he wasn't able to majorly damage it.

The man then immediately turned back around, with him freezing the sword wound to prevent it from hampering him any further.

"Summoning Jutsu!!"

Sakumo but his thumb and slammed it into the ice beneath him, with it summoning a massive dog that he stood atop of.

"Oh? I didn't expect for you to summon me, Sakumo." The old dog said slowly, with him immediately understanding the situation as he smelled the massive amount of blood in the air.

"I apologize for bothering you elder, but I need your assistance in battling the Mizukage." Sakumo said humbly, though the glow on his blade showed he was ready to attack the Mizukage as soon as he moved.

"The Mizukage? Oh, it seems you picked a decent fight then. Very well, I shall assist you today." The Dog Clan elder said before he blasted a massive amount of water at Kori, though the man simply froze it as soon as it came upon him, with Sakumo appearing above him at the same time.

Sakumo slashed downward, to which the man avoided it, though the slash cut extremely deep into the ice beneath them, showing the power behind the strike.

Kori weaved hand signs, before a massive version of himself made of ice appeared through his use of the frozen ocean, with it then engaging in combat with the Dog Elder.

Sakumo showcased his swordsmanship as he sent several flying slashed towards the Mizukage, with each carrying the power of an A-Ranked Justu, with one even able to hit the man in his back.

Sakumo then used his Lightning Chakra to extend the blade, with him stabbing straight towards the chest of the Mizukage, yet the man was able to force the attack to avoid anything vital, yet the attack still left the Mizukage greatly wounded, with him being forced to free that wound as well.

However, before the Mizukage could make another move, Danzo, who had taken down the five clones, appeared from behind and grabbed the man's shoulder, with it serving two purposes.

First, it sent a Juinjutsu to momentarily force the man's movement to stop, with it havibg the ability to cease someone's ability to move or mold there chakra.

Secondly, it allowed him to utilize a Jutsu that his teacher used frequently, one that gave him to the win in many battle thanks to the momentary stop that his opponents had.

"Bringer of Darkness Technique!"

Danzo then prepared to finish the man once and for all, with him send him vibrating blade towards the throat of Kori.

However, before the attack could reach, The Mizukage's Chakra surged, with it sending Danzo back due to the icy feel of it.

'What!?! He should have been unable to do anything. This should not be possible.' Danzo thought to himself as he looked at the Mizukage.

But, instead of the man being prepared to continue, he instead had an expression of unparallelled anger on his face, with his Chakra only growing more oppressive as time went on.

"I knew I would need to come to the battlefield, though I didn't expect their techniques to allow you to escape my control. I figured you'd die still under the Genjutsu, especially with you lacking the power to escape from it." A voice sounded from the distance.

"Impossible." Danzo muttered under his breath as he looked on with utter shock and a bit of apprehension at the man that was approaching.

"You should be dead." Danzo said as he finally regained his bearings.

Sakumo looked at the man that could make the Darkness of Shinobi feel fear, with him widening his eyes upon realizing who he was.

"MADARA!!" The Third Mizukage yelled in anger as he charged towards him, though the man in question easily impaled him with his hand that extended thanks to the gray tendrils between his body parts.

"Pitiful. You disgrace the name of the Kage. Though I guess your heart could be of some use to me." Madara said to him before he stared at Danzo and Sakumo, the Three Tomei Sharingan in his eye spinning rapidly.

"At least try to keep me entertained." Madara said with a smirk as he blasted towards the two

At the same time, a massive amount of white creatures began attacking both the Kiri and Konoha Shinobi, dealing major damage to the armies.

Madara Uchiha had joined the Third Great Shinobi World War.
