It feels like falling in love

Christian saw Ella fold her arms across her chest and looked at her with an annoyed look. "Christian, have you forgotten? Do you remember how cold you used to be to me? When we first met, you told me to jump out of the window!"

In the past, maybe Ella would have let Christian do whatever he wanted.

She would let Christian order her to do whatever he wanted. She would allow Christian to blame her for anything that wasn't her fault.

But now it's different.

Ella wanted to be free. She wanted to be free to do whatever she wanted.

Christian doesn't want to remember that moment. He answered in a low voice, as if he felt guilty. "There used to be so many women who approached me…" and those women weren't sincere.

The way he used to torture Ella before, had now become a burden and guilt in his heart. He could imagine how sad and scared Ella was at that moment.
