Mason had texted Jason earlier, letting him know that their grandmother was at the hospital.

"How is she?" Jason asked Mason in a panicked voice the moment he saw him and rushed over to where he was.

"The doctors are still attending to her," Mason replied.

"How did it happen? What happened to her?" Jason was breathing fast.

"You need to calm down, she is going to be fine."

"That wasn't the question that I asked you! What happened to her?" Jason snapped, breathing hard through his nose.

Mason ignored his attitude. "I told her and granddad about Deb and Jack being involved in Mom's death. She fainted from shock."

"Fuck!" Jason pulled his fingers through his already messy hair.

"I don't need this right now," he mumbled.
