As my body shook in so much anger and my breathing got harder, I asked Yoon-Ah again in a trembling voice.
"W-Who touched this?" I said, showing her the shawl in my hands.
Though panicking, she answered me hastily.
"T-There was a man who helped me earlier. The wind blew my shawl, and it got caught up in a flower arch, and then—"
"Where?" I snapped.
Her trembling fingers pointed outside, towards the garden. As soon as she lifted her fingers, I ran in its direction. My hands still clenched on the white shawl, marking it with the great rage seething in my heart.
'I'll kill him. I'LL KILL HIM!' I chanted over and over in my mind.
I didn't care how long the gown I was wearing was or how high the heels were. I couldn't care less who I bumped into trying to make my way toward the garden.
I was desperate.
