Arabella's POV
"How could you not tell me about what happened to Emily, Neil?" I asked him right away when I settled myself inside his car, and I could tell he tensed up as he clenched his fists on the steering wheel harder than necessary.
I feel so glad he invited me to have dinner with him since I know I will not feel at ease staying at home after I learned what happened to Emily, and I am so bothered about Annika's situation.
I could feel it in my heart that I must consider helping the girl because she is innocent and doesn't need to experience the cruelty of the world around her since she is still very young. I don't know exactly what happened, but I condemned Joshua for killing Emily.
Even if Anika's mom treated me harshly when I found her with Tyler inside his room in his penthouse on the day I discovered Tyler's secrets and lies, I couldn't stop worrying about Anika. Maybe it was because of the undying devotion to my nursing profession.
