Brent was reluctant in answering Irene's question but he has no other choice but to give his honest answer. "That's my mother's advise but I'm still trying to find a better alternative because I don't want to live under the same roof as her, but given that Aurora was carrying our unborn child we have to compromise for the sake of the baby," he explained.
Irene breathed deeply. "I understand, when it comes to our firstborn, I'm willing to do everything that is required of me just to keep our baby safe," she replied dismally.
"Thanks for your cooperation, sweetie," Brent said. He cleared his throat. "Um, there's something you need to know..." he added.
"What is it?" she asked.
"Before I left the ancestral house, your mother, Aurora, and I was already discussing the wedding and we agreed to hold the event two weeks from now," Brent finally dropped the bomb.
"Nooooooooo!" Irene gasped in shock.
