'I don't know. Want to find out?' He asked, because he clearly wanted to mind his own business, but if Nancy insisted on checking up on him, he'd have to go.
Nancy got up.
'Yes.'
Koan sighed as he followed her from behind while their friends watched.
"Daniel."
The dark expression on his face lit up lightly on seeing Nancy. He motioned for them to come up.
Koan placed his thumb and forefinger on each side of his lips, stretching them with a stoic expression, motioning for him to smile.
Daniel blinked.
"Why so grumpy? Today's your Luna's naming ceremony." Nancy said as Daniel got up to meet them at the side of the platform, away from probing eyes.
"I'm in mourning." Daniel stiffly replied.
Barton came up behind him, resisting the urge to flick his forehead as he sighed.
"Your mate is not dead."
"What?" Nancy had a horrid look on her face.
