Make It Clear

Qiao Xuan lifted the curtain and spotted the crowd eagerly waiting for her. She pondered what to say upon disembarking, but before she could utter a word, they created a heartfelt scene.

Lixia and others also aided them to their feet.

After a few exchanges, Songshi stepped forward, saying, "It's too cold outside. The house has already been warmed with a charcoal basin and fire bed. Madam, please sit inside and chat."

Agreeing, everyone followed Qiao Xuan to the main courtyard.

Once inside the main room, Qiao Xuan found herself alone; the others remained on the porch or in the yard beneath the stairs.
