Asgard

Bifrost Bridge

Heimdall, the man who can observe any change in the Nine Realms was currently frowning and deep in thought.

A few minutes ago, he detected slight changes in Niflheim, these were almost undetectable, but he managed to pick them up and concentrated on that world.

But to add to his suspicion, after that small change, nothing else happened.

Worried, Heimdall kept his gaze on Hela's prison as he was afraid that woman might escape.

But there was no problem with her, so Heimdall surveyed all of Niflheim.

Seeing that there was no problem, he was not happy as he felt, deep inside him, that something was wrong.

But before he could think about it any further, he heard Thor's call.

Snapping out of his thoughts, Heimdall looked out at the world from where Thor was calling out to him.

Vanaheim.

Since the last time the Bifrost was destroyed, Asgard's many enemy races had been causing trouble.

And Vanaheim, as sister race to Asgard, has been the most attacked place.

Thor, Lady Sif and the Warriors Three were sent there to deal with the invaders.

Now, from what Heimdall saw, it looks like they managed to solve it.

Without further ado, Heimdall opened the Bifrost.

As he did so, he mentally informed Odin of Thor's arrival.

Seconds later, a great rainbow light headed towards Vanaheim.

Heimdall expressionlessly watched the arrival of Thor, Lady Sif and Frandal.

The other two warriors remained in Vanaheim.

"Hahaha, hey Heimdall, long time no see" giving a loud laugh, Thor greeted Heimdall.

"That's normal Prince Thor, after all, you've had to do your job of protecting the peace of the Nine Realms and you don't come around very often" Heimdall responded blankly to Thor's greeting.

Lady Sif and Frandal also greeted Heimdall without being uncomfortable with the way he responded to Thor's greeting, they were used to it after all.

"In that you are right, but it won't be like that anymore, we finally managed to suppress the rebellions. From today peace has returned to the Nine Realms and so I will spend time in Asgard and also visit my friends in Midgard" Thor said with a smile.

Heimdall looks at Thor upon hearing his words, although he wanted to tell him something, he decides to keep quiet and would discuss his concerns with King Odin.

"Well Heimdall, I will go and inform my father of our victory" Thor said as he headed towards the Royal Palace of Asgard.

Frandal and Lady Sif followed Thor.

Heimdall remained silent as he watched Thor's departure and continued to keep an eye on the Nine Realms, more specifically Niflheim, after all he still had doubts.

Unfortunately, Thor's arrival allowed Hela to leave Niflheim without him noticing.

Asgard

Royal Palace

On the throne could be seen sitting still an elderly man who emanated great pressure, especially with the sacred spear that he held in his left hand.

Even for his age, he had great vitality.

This man was Odin, the All-Father.

Father of Thor, Loki and Hela.

Beside him was a beautiful woman with an appearance in her thirties.

This woman was Frigga, wife of Odin and mother of the three aforementioned.

These two parents were awaiting the arrival of their son Thor, who by Heimdall's notice, they knew had completed his mission.

But in this situation, Odin was deep in thought. Apart from informing him of the arrival of his son, Heimdall told him that after verifying a strange occurrence in Niflheim, he would go and speak with him in person.

Niflheim, just hearing the name of that world only made him remember his daughter Hela and the great sin he did to her.

At that time a warrior was needed, not a king.

And because of that, he distorted his daughter's personality.

Now, Heimdall seems to have found something suspicious and that was something that made him uneasy.

Looks like he has to pay her a visit, even if Heimdall doesn't find anything.

Frigga looked a little worried at her husband.

She also knew of Odin's concerns towards his daughter Hela, but at that time it was also her fault for not having cared for her properly.

|| T. N. - Let's assume that in this fic Frigga is Hela's mother. Many theories and information claim that she is not her mother but someone else, but nothing is confirmed, I think. ||

As they had these thoughts, the doors to the great hall were thrown open, drawing the attention of Odin and Frigga.

It was Thor, who upon entering, had a smile on his face when he saw them.

"Father, Mother, your son has returned and has accomplished his mission" Thor said greeting his parents.

"Congratulations son, I am very proud of what you have done" Frigga replied smiling looking at her son.

Looking at her son, Frigga feels her heart calm down.

Thor is proof that she didn't go wrong again, like she did with Hela.

Hearing his mother's words, Thor's smile widens.

"Hmph! You did a good job, but don't get complacent, or you may make mistakes in the future" Odin said coldly looking at Thor.

The latter retracts his smile and nods at his father with a serious expression.

Odin looks blankly at his son, but inside he is proud.

"What are you going to do now, son?" Frigga asked looking at Thor.

"...For the time being I will stay in Asgard, and try to search for clues to Loki's whereabouts and then I will return to Midgard to see my friends" Thor answered after thinking about it for a bit.

The two parents fell silent upon hearing about Loki.

That child had disappeared a long time ago and until now they have not found any clues to his whereabouts.

But the last part of his words made Odin frown.

Although he was grateful to Earth for teaching his son, he wanted Thor to dedicate himself to continuing to improve to be king.

But he decided to keep silent when he felt his wife's gaze.

After a little conversation Thor left the room, leaving only his parents.

Seconds later, Heimdall arrives and greets Odin.

"Greetings, All-Father"

Odin nods his head and says:

"Tell me what you discovered"
