Since the incident with Ultron, a totally peaceful and uneventful month has passed.

Earth had had a good rest after being constantly attacked.

Sure, still one or another villain who caused big trouble, but the heroes were more than enough to stop them.

Genosha also entered a very nice time of stability as its position in the world was already established and immovable.

After submitting their proposals to the United Nations, they were approved and very well received.

Medicines and very advanced technology created by Maya, Riri and Helen Cho began to be sent to different parts of the world that needed them to improve their quality of life.

That was public knowledge and everyone on Earth knew it.

And seeing how useful and effective they were, Genosha became a Good Samaritan in the eyes of the world.

Which made its image improve.

Of course, there were people and groups who still wanted to cause problems for its image, but with SHIELD monitoring any issues, that was suppressed easily and without repercussions.

Alex' Office

2:00 PM

Alex was classifying paperwork as usual.

But this time Maya and Jane were helping him.

Most of the other members were doing their thing and the ones who could be considered free at the moment were those two women.

"Your job sure is boring, Alex" Jane said casually as she flipped through some reports.

She is beginning to regret coming to help him, and it would have been better if she had gone to distract herself a bit with the others.

"Don't say that Jane, it's better to lighten the load on him, so he can relax too. Besides, it's because of us that his work has become heavy" Maya said softly as she sorted through a file.

Jane remains silent and does not comment further on the matter.

She knows very well that the technology they have developed is highly desired and there is always more demand for it.

And although that type of matter goes through another management group, in the end Alex must take the last look so that everything runs smoothly.

"You shouldn't worry, this matter is very simple for me, after all Alexa always helps me when it comes to classifying my documents" Alex said as he looked at these two women.

"No, it's just boring sitting around, so helping you is better!" Jane said quickly as if telling herself.

Alex looks at her strangely at that little outburst.

Maya just smiles wryly at Jane's actions.

Jane notices her outburst too and feels a little embarrassed.

The office falls into an awkward little silence.

Alex had given most of them a vacation to relax since, knowing Emma, Jean and Lorna, they would have continued to do their jobs without worrying about their respective pregnancies.

He knew there would be no problem, but that was not healthy.

So asking the others for help, they convinced them and in the end they walked away from work.

And since they were the ones who helped him in the office, he was left alone for these last few weeks.

Surprisingly, Jane and Maya have been helping him and he felt grateful for their actions.

But, seeing Jane's strange actions, he knew there was something deep in her actions.

Alex looks at Maya with doubts and with his eyes he demands an explanation.

"Well, this is because of Thor" Maya said with a sigh.

"Maya!" Jane yelled a little surprised that her friend would rat her out.

"Hey, you can't always hide it, it's also good to share it with your acquaintances so they can help you" Maya said softly advising Jane.

Jane just keeps quiet and nods her head.

Alex more or less understood the situation.

There seemed to be problems with her relationship with Thor.

But Alex was confused, since he hadn't found out about that, but he realized that she had been so busy lately that she hadn't even met with the others to be informed.

After all, during this week he has been sleeping alone and occasionally with Galacta.

But she did not stay in Genosha.

"What happened?" Alex asked softly as he put the documents down.

Looking at Alex, Jane sighed and recounted what had happened with her relationship with Thor.

Alex began to listen to her whole story.

And the more he listened, Alex's face couldn't stop twitching.

Thor really is a very innocent child for a very old man.

"It was our first date in a long time and that idiot took me to Asgard to see his parents at a big banquet. Doesn't he know what a private dinner is?" Jane complained.

Alex wanted to laugh, but like the males, he put up with it.

That blond guy is very interesting.

"And to top it off, he took me on a hunt. Sure, it was in the moonlight but that wasn't the situation I wanted, no one wants to see their boyfriend chop the head off some Minotaur type of creature and then offer to eat it" Jane said with a pale face as if she just remembered something unpleasant.

Alex shows a stoic face but inside he's giving Thor a thumbs up for how «incredible» he was.

‹That guy will be very «popular» with the girls, especially the ones from Earth› Alex thought with amusement.

Maya seems to see through Alex's thoughts and just rolls her eyes at him.

"Well don't think about it too much, that big guy doesn't know our courtship culture very well so it's normal for him to mess up sometimes" Alex said comfortingly to calm Jane down.

"Oh please, he's been on Earth for over three bloody years and he still hasn't learned, I don't believe it" Jane said rolling her eyes.

Alex couldn't comment on that, so like someone who knows when to keep his mouth shut, he kept quiet and continued to listen to Jane's complaints.

Another day had passed very normally.
