The Children of Thanos Part 5

Alex Wayne POV

Island in Boca Caliente also called A.I.M. Island

I had arrived at the main A.I.M. base accompanied by Mantis, Laura and the Inhuman royal family but we quickly hid.

Seconds after arriving at this place I received a call from Emma.

What she told me surprised me, it seems that someone else had destroyed the A.I.M. base in Canada.

But when she sent me a picture of the attackers, I was shocked.

It was Black Dwarf, one of the Children of Thanos.

Knowing that he was the only one in that place, I gave them permission to finish him off.

I knew that if that guy was here, the other Children would be too.

So I contacted the others and told them what happened in Canada.

And I waited.

After waiting a few minutes, the island had sounded the emergency alarm.

And in that, we saw a wheel-shaped spaceship appear.

Seeing the spaceship, I knew for sure that Thanos wanted the Cosmic Cube.

At that moment, I received a call from Psylocke saying that they had encountered a situation similar to Emma's but that the invaders had managed to escape.

As the call ends, we hear a loud disturbance throughout the island caused by the spaceship that was attacking them.

"What do we do now, Alex?" a nervous Mantis asked.

"We wait for them to destroy each other and then we will attack, for now let's try to reach the headquarters of this place without being seen"

They all nod their heads.

For Laura and Mantis this was normal since they had previously faced aliens.

Only the Inhuman royal family was stunned by the situation, as they had initially come to destroy one of their enemies but were already being attacked by unknown forces.

Since they didn't know how to act, they followed what Alex said since he seemed used to these situations.

Alex Wayne POV

As we moved forward, I pulled out a small tracker Riri had built to detect objects with the same energy frequency as the Reality Stone and activated it.

To my pleasant surprise, it worked and was detecting something south of our position.

I concluded that it might be the Cosmic Cube.

So following the radar signal, we headed towards that place.

I had to hurry since I didn't want it to fall into Thanos's hands.

I didn't know if the bastard was on that spaceship but I didn't want to risk it.
