Genosha (Entry III) Part 8

Pipeline led the Magistrates to the trucks where the mutants should be. Checking the trucks, they realize that the mutants were gone.

And they only found the dead bodies of their companions.

"Damn, those damned mutants got away, capturing them again will be annoying" Hawkshaw commented.

"Even so, we have to do it. Hawkshaw tell us their position" Pipeline said.

Hawkshaw is not a normal mercenary, he has the ability to track any animal, human, or mutant. He can also tell which of his prey are normal humans and which are mutants.

Hawkshaw concentrates and a few seconds later he says:

"The highest concentration of mutants is heading south of our position"

"Understood, then we'll go for them" Pipeline said.

"Alright, we'll use these trucks, load what you need on it" Punchout told the Magistrates.

The Magistrates immediately set to work.

The Sentinels who were on standby were placed near the trucks.

Pipeline, who was watching the Magistrates carry out the Punchout order, felt uncomfortable, as if something was wrong.

He had been a mercenary, always cautious and trusting his instincts.

And right now, his instincts were telling his there was something wrong.

At that moment he felt a chill.

Then yelling he says:

"STAY AWAY FROM THE TRUCKS"

By the time he gave that order it was too late and the Magistrates had no time to react as the trucks exploded.

Boom!

Boom!

The Sentinels and many members of the Magistrates were engulfed in the fire of the explosion.

Some of the Magistrates who didn't get too close to the trucks ended up with superficial injuries, but they were stunned by what had happened.

Only members of the Press Gang were able to escape unharmed from the explosion.

Pipeline was shocked and furious at having fallen into this trap.

When he was going to give orders to his men, he is surprised by what he saw.

A man had sneaked up behind Wipeout, who was still in a daze.

Before he could warn him, that man shot Wipeout in the head.

Hawkshaw and Punchout, who were close to Wipeout, were shocked to see him fall to the ground dead. They quickly tried to point their guns at the man but were too slow.

The man hurled a sword at Punchout's chest, piercing her heart.

Hawkshaw had an opportunity to shoot him but the man dodged the shot and put a bullet through his head.

Pipeline grabbed his gun to shoot him, but the man disappeared using the fire caused by the explosion as a cover.

Pipeline was full of anger as he just lost all the members of the Press Gang being the only one left.

"We have to regroup and kill that bastard" Pipeline told the surviving Magistrates.

Pipeline wouldn't let that bastard get away, even if he has to chase him all over Africa.

Alex Wayne POV

The plan was carried out to perfection, the Magistrates decided to use the trucks in which I had placed explosives.

When they exploded, I took care of the three closest guys to my position who were stunned by what happened.

Once I killed them, I hid.

I noticed that the muscular guy seems to be the leader.

The Magistrates who survived the explosion regrouped under his command and started looking for me.

Right now I'm alone, as this was nothing more than a distraction.

So that Jessica will take over the ship.

Looking at these men I decided to quickly finish them off.
